Moderator mode
Up to 16 Twitch and Kick chats you moderate, side by side, with delete, timeout and ban on every message. Around them sit one AutoMod queue and the panels from Twitch's mod view.

Download
The installer for Windows 10 or 11, the disk image for a Mac, or the deb for Ubuntu and Debian (an AppImage for other Linux).

Run it
On a Mac, drag Sidechat into Applications. On Ubuntu, install the deb with
sudo apt install ./Sidechat-*.deb. If you see a security warning, here's what to do. -

Add a channel
Press CtrlT and type a name, an @handle for YouTube,
soop/namefor SOOP, or paste a chzzk.naver.com link. Sign in when you want to chat back.
Questions
- Why does my computer warn me about it?
- Sidechat isn't signed yet. If Windows says it protected your PC, choose More info → Run anyway. If macOS won't open it, choose Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Can I chat everywhere?
- On Twitch, Kick and SOOP once you sign in. YouTube and CHZZK chat are read-only for now.
- What does Sidechat connect to?
- Twitch, Kick, YouTube, SOOP and CHZZK; 7TV, BTTV and FFZ for emotes; a few public services for recent messages, badges and past names; StreamElements if you connect it; Mozilla for the language files Translate downloads; and sidechat.tv for updates. Kick sign-in passes through a small Sidechat service that trades Kick's one-time code for your login and keeps nothing.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Sidechat is free.
